Christus Victor

A fall, hiding, shame, exile, and finally—redemption. This is the story of each of us, from Adam and Eve until today.

Christus Victor speaks of the victory of the Lamb of God, Christ our King, over death; who in His sacrifice on the cross bruises his heel, but in the end crushes the head of the deceiver and takes away the sin of the world.

The Lamb of God, born of the seed of the woman, blue-blooded royalty, gives His life to reconcile us with the Father for eternity.

"I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring;
he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”

This is the good news, the Gospel and the hope that we carry in our hearts.
