I'm marcus. started design at 12, grew up around art.

P&F as a pursuit of beauty and truth. Lasting beauty. Truth as a lighthouse in stormy seas.

I make things for people who think deeply—illustrated prints and apparel built around the conviction that beauty and truth belong together.

Each piece grows out of something I've wrestled with: a passage of Scripture, a season of difficulty, an idea that kept returning. Those ideas become illustrations. The illustrations become things you can wear or hang on a wall; and eventually, things you can write in, carry, and keep.

I'm based in Oradea, Romania. A graphic designer by training, a believer by conviction, a maker by instinct. Proverb & Fable is my attempt to build something that outlasts the work week; a body of work I'd want to own myself, made for people who feel the same way.

I've lived in a few places, worked for a lot of people, and spent years making things for others. Proverb & Fable is my attempt to make something entirely my own—and I'm building it the only way I know how: one piece at a time, with nothing added that doesn't belong.

Proverb & Fable is a story that is still being written.
